Superb, chilling and insanely scary trailer arrives for Nicholas McCarthy’s ‘The Pact’

I have been looking forward to Nicholas McCarthy’s full length version of his short film, The Pact for some time now. The film has had a very successful festival run, with most reviewers praising the film as one of the finest horrors to have come along in a while.

Thankfully the wait is now over for the UK as a cinema release date has recently been announced so get your diaries out people! The Pact arrives in UK cinemas on 8th June, and to celebrate, we finally have a full length trailer to share with you. It is probably a good thing NOT to watch this terrific trailer before bed, it is rather frightening. Check it out at the bottom of this post!

The creepy ghost story in the tradition of Ringu, Suspiria and Psycho features a cast which includes Agnes Bruckner (Vacancy 2), Sam Bell, Haley Hudson (Ghost Whisperer), Kathleen Rose Perkins and Caspar Van Dien (Starship Troopers).

A keen enthusiast and collector of all horror and extreme films. I can be picky as i like quality in my horror. This doesn't necessarily mean it has to be a classic, but as long as it has something to impress me then i'm a fan. I watch films by the rule that if it doesn't bring out some kind of emotive response then it aint worth watching.
