“Don’t trust your eyes” as four character poster are revealed for paranormal thriller ‘Red Lights’

The released date for director Rodrigo Cortes’ (Buried) new film, Red Lights, is creeping ever closer. With a UK cinema release scheduled for 15th June, it is about time we saw some more goodies from the film, and thankfully MTV shared some character posters earlier today. Red Lights looks awesome, although festival reviews have been a bit mixed, but if you check out the trailers (especially the most recent one) here, then I am sure you will be as hooked as me to see this new chiller.

The new character posters rightfully target the four main members of the cast, each with their own slogan which I am sure will become clear when you see the film. Check out the posters below.

The impressive cast includes Robert De Niro, Cillian Murphy, Sigourney Weaver, Elizabeth Olsen, Joely Richardson, Toby Jones, Craig Roberts and Karen David. Rodrigo Cortes both wrote and directed the film.

“Two investigators of paranormal hoaxes, the veteran Dr. Margaret Matheson and her young assistant, Tom Buckley, study the most varied metaphysical phenomena with the aim of proving their fraudulent origins. Simon Silver, a legendary blind psychic, reappears after an enigmatic absence of 30 years to become the greatest international challenge to both orthodox science and professional sceptics. Tom starts to develop an intense obsession with Silver, whose magnetism becomes stronger with each new manifestation of inexplicable events. As Tom gets closer to Silver, tension mounts, and his worldview is threatened to its core.”

A keen enthusiast and collector of all horror and extreme films. I can be picky as i like quality in my horror. This doesn't necessarily mean it has to be a classic, but as long as it has something to impress me then i'm a fan. I watch films by the rule that if it doesn't bring out some kind of emotive response then it aint worth watching.
