New ‘Prometheus’ featurette finally puts some focus on Charlize Theron’s character, and shows off some brand new footage

It is doubtful you will believe what I have to say next, but I am going to say it anyway! Just the other day I was having a chat at the pub with my wife about Prometheus, and how there hasn’t been very much insight into Charlize Theron’s character Meredith Vickers. Granted she has appeared briefly in the trailers, but she hasn’t really had the kind of coverage stars Noomi Rapace, Michael Fassbender, Guy Pearce or even Idris Elba have had. Then as if someone was listening to our conversation, a new viral went up online last night, and guess what, is focuses on Charlize Theron! What a crazy world we live in eh, and wonderful coincidence.

Anyway, the new clip has Charlize Theron discussing her role, and what is was like working with Ridley Scott. Her character, Meredith Vickers, is supposed to be a real hard ass who works for the Weyland Corporation, and her role in the film is overseeing the Prometheus mission for Weyland Industries. Check out the new viral video at the botom of this post.

A keen enthusiast and collector of all horror and extreme films. I can be picky as i like quality in my horror. This doesn't necessarily mean it has to be a classic, but as long as it has something to impress me then i'm a fan. I watch films by the rule that if it doesn't bring out some kind of emotive response then it aint worth watching.
