Party of the Year PROJECT X Coming to DVD, Download and Blu-Ray on 2nd July 2012

The house is in ruins….. it’s hard to tell what caused more damage, the fire or the helicopter’s efforts to put out the fire. Relive the party that caused the destruction with “Project X,” on Blu-ray Triple Play, DVD and Digital Download from 2nd July.

Nima Nourizadeh makes his feature film debut directing a cast of talented newcomers who scored parts through a nationwide talent search. “Project X” stars Thomas Mann, Jonathan Daniel Brown, Oliver Cooper, Dax Flame, Kirby Bliss Blanton, Alexis Knapp and Miles Teller (“Footloose”). Todd Phillips (“The Hangover” films) produced the film.

“Project X” will be available on Blu-ray Triple Play for £23.48 and on single disc DVD for £16.33. The Blu-ray Triple Play features the extended cut and theatrical version of the film in hi-definition Blu-ray, and the theatrical version in standard definition on DVD. Both the Blu-ray Triple Play and the single disc DVD include UltraViolet which allows consumers to download and instantly stream the standard definition theatrical version of the film to a wide range of devices including computers and compatible tablets, smartphones, game consoles, Internet-connected TVs and Blu-ray players.

“Project X” follows three seemingly anonymous high school seniors—Thomas, Costa and J.B.—as they attempt to finally make a name for themselves. Their idea is innocent enough: let’s throw a party that no one will forget, and have a camera there, to document history in the making…but nothing could prepare them for this party. Word spreads quickly as dreams are ruined, records are blemished and legends are born. “Project X” is a warning to parents and police everywhere.

I love prosthetic effects, stop-motion animation and gore, but most of all I love a good story! I adore B-movies and exploitation films in many of their guises and also have a soft spot for creature features. I review a wide range of media including movies, TV series, books and videogames. I'm a massive fan of author Hunter S. Thompson and I enjoy various genre of videogames with Kingdom Hearts and Harvest Moon two of my all time favs. Currently playing: Dropsy, Hatoful Boyfriend and The Witcher 2
