“Track ’em, find ’em, kill them!!” All kinds of awesomeness in ‘The Expendables 2’ full length trailer!!!

After teasing us with a rather lame teaser trailer for the full length trailer (something which is becoming the norm these days), Stallone and his gang of Expendables have now finally released the first proper full length trailer for The Expendables 2, and its a whopper!

There is far too much good stuff in this to list, tons of one liners with my highlight being Arnie complaining at the size of a Smart car, claiming his shoe is bigger than it! We see Van Damme turning all villainous in his role of the bad guy, AND we see him square up to Stallone in what promises to be an epic fight. Statham does what Statham does, Chuck Norris just stands around firing his gun, Willis moans, Arnie appears to be having the time of his life and Lundgren looks grumpy as ever! It is fair to say that this trailer has got me very very excited, and I haven’t even told you that there is an explosion pretty much every two seconds yet!

Check out the glorious, action and one-liner packed trailer at the bottom of this post!

The sequel, directed by Simon West, has a massive list of names involved: Sylvester Stallone, Bruce Willis, Arnold Schwarzenegger, Jason Statham, Dolph Lundgren, Liam Hemsworth, Randy Couture, Jean Claude Van Damme, Chuck Norris, Jet Li, Terry Crews, Scott Adkins, Liam Hemsworth and Nan Yu. Expect to see The Expendables 2 in UK cinemas on 17th August.

“The Expendables are back and this time it’s personal… Barney Ross (Sylvester Stallone), Lee Christmas (Lee Statham), Yin Yang (Jet Li), Gunnar Jensen (Dolph Lundgren),Toll Road (Randy Couture) and Hale Caesar (Terry Crews) — with newest members Billy the Kid (Liam Hemsworth) and Maggie (Yu Nan) aboard — are reunited when Mr. Church (Bruce Willis) enlists the Expendables to take on a seemingly simple job. The task looks like an easy paycheck for Barney and his band of old-school mercenaries. But when things go wrong and one of their own is viciously killed, the Expendables are compelled to seek revenge in hostile territory where the odds are stacked against them. Hell-bent on payback, the crew cuts a swath of destruction through opposing forces, wreaking havoc and shutting down an unexpected threat in the nick of time — six pounds of weapons-grade plutonium; enough to change the balance of power in the world. But that’s nothing compared to the justice they serve against the villainous adversary who savagely murdered their brother. That is done the Expendables way….”

A keen enthusiast and collector of all horror and extreme films. I can be picky as i like quality in my horror. This doesn't necessarily mean it has to be a classic, but as long as it has something to impress me then i'm a fan. I watch films by the rule that if it doesn't bring out some kind of emotive response then it aint worth watching.
