It is a sad state of affairs when one of the biggest talking points of a remake is whether a three breasted sexy woman would be returning, but low and behold this new full length trailer has the answers. Len Wiseman’s Total Recall remake was initially not very welcome: Arnie and Paul Verhoeven’s original is so well loved that a new version was close to insulting. However, from what I have seen so far for the remake, Wiseman and lead actor Colin Farrell appear to have done a good job in taking the film in their own, Mars-less direction, and I am excited.
The new trailer answers the question that everyone has been talking about: will the Three Breasted Lady return? Yes, yes she does and she appears early on in the trailer and is a damn sight more attractive than the original lady. So, happy now? Apart from this glorious piece of news, this new trailer shows tons more footage and we even get to see poor old Colin Farrell have to fight his violent yet stunning wife (played by the ever gorgeous Kate Beckinsale). There is plenty of new action here, more plot developments which looks very familiar to the original version, and all in all this is a superb trailer.
Total Recall arrives here in the UK on 29th August, so will benefit from the end of the summer holidays rush and, possibly, The Dark Knight Rises will have slowed down a bit after having been released for six weeks (or maybe not!!).
Directed by Len Wiseman, Total Recall has an impressive cast which includes: Colin Farrell, Kate Beckinsale, Jessica Biel, Bryan Cranston, Bokeem Woodbine, Bill Nighy, Ethan Hawke and John Cho.

“Total Recall” is an action thriller about reality and memory, inspired anew by the famous short story “We Can Remember It For You Wholesale” by Philip K. Dick. Welcome to Rekall, the company that can turn your dreams into real memories. For a factory worker named Douglas Quaid (Colin Farrell), even though he’s got a beautiful wife (Kate Beckinsale) who he loves, the mind-trip sounds like the perfect vacation from his frustrating life – real memories of life as a super-spy might be just what he needs. But when the procedure goes horribly wrong, Quaid becomes a hunted man. Finding himself on the run from the police – controlled by Chancellor Cohaagen (Bryan Cranston), the leader of the free world – Quaid teams up with a rebel fighter (Jessica Biel) to find the head of the underground resistance (Bill Nighy) and stop Cohaagen. The line between fantasy and reality gets blurred and the fate of his world hangs in the balance as Quaid discovers his true identity, his true love, and his true fate.
