Fans Start Petition To Demand Wide Theatrical Release of the Film THE BARRENS

Stephen Moyer fan have taken the initiative to start the petition: WE WANT THE BARRENS IN A THEATER NEAR US!

The psychological horror flick written and directed by Darren Lynn Bousman is distributed by Anchor Bay and is set to be released this fall.

The leading website states:

“The era where we silently consume whatever the film distributors decide to present at our local cinema has ended. Thanks to the Internet and all the amazing possibilities the new social media has to offer, the fans have gained a platform and a voice where they can tell the world what they want to see on the big screen.

Too many films worth watching receive only a limited theatrical release or go straight to DVD, films that we would love to experience on the big screen, films such as The Barrens.

We would like to send a strong signal to the distributor of The Barrens that we want to see this film in a theater near us, in our hometowns.”

All fans of Darren Lynn Bousman, Stephen Moyer, Mia Kirshner and the other cast members are invited to sign the petition and help spread the word.
