Frantic and slightly scary US trailer for Pascal Laugier’s ‘The Tall Man’ aims to chill your soul

After the creepy, but not exactly brilliant French trailer for Pascal Laugier’s (Martyrs) new horror The Tall Man arrived a short while ago, a brand new trailer has now landed.

The new, US version of the trailer is much more frantic, scarier and definitely more sinister with a great ending.

Sadly there are still no details on a UK release for the film, however it arrives in its native France on 5th September, and the US on 31st August. Check out the creepy trailer at the bottom of this post.

THE TALL MAN is written and directed by Pascal Laugier and produced by Clément Miserez (Radar Films) and Kevin DeWalt (Mind’s Eye Entertainment) along with Jean-Charles Levy (Forecast Pictures) and Scott Kennedy (Highwire Pictures). The film stars Jessica Biel (New Years Eve, The A-Team), Jodelle Ferland (The Cabin in the Woods, The Twilight Saga: Eclipse), Stephen McHattie (Immortals, 2012), William B. Davis (“The X-Files,” Passengers), Samantha Ferris (Along Came a Spider), and Katherine Ramdeen (The World, The Flesh & The Devil)

Synopsis:

“In an isolated, slowly dying mining town, children are vanishing without a trace – abducted, the townsfolk whisper, by a mysterious entity known locally as “The Tall Man.” Town nurse Julia Denning (Jessica Biel) seems skeptical…until her young David disappears in the middle of night. Frantic to rescue the boy, Julia lives every parent’s darkest nightmare in this twisting, shock-around-each-corner thriller.”

A keen enthusiast and collector of all horror and extreme films. I can be picky as i like quality in my horror. This doesn't necessarily mean it has to be a classic, but as long as it has something to impress me then i'm a fan. I watch films by the rule that if it doesn't bring out some kind of emotive response then it aint worth watching.
