Tom Hardy “won’t lay down for nobody” in violent new ‘Lawless’ trailer

A new, yet much shorter trailer has landed for director John Hillcoat’s gangster epic, Lawless, and you can watch it at the bottom of this post. The trailer wastes no time in getting right down to business with plenty of fights, guns and macho statements from the stunning cast. Tom Hardy, who plays Forrest Bondurant in the film, looks to be relishing his role, and once again is proving himself to be the go-to guy for hard as nails riles right now. John Hillcoat directs from a screenplay written by Nick Cave, itself based on the novel written by Matt Bondurant. The terrific cast includes Tom Hardy, Guy Pearce, Gary Oldmam, Shia LeBeouf, Jessica Chastain, Mia Wasikowska, Dane Dehaan and Noah Taylor.

Lawless arrives in UK 7th September.

Synopsis:

Lawless is based on the book “The Wettest County in the World” by Matt Bondurant, writing about his grandfather and two granduncles, following the story of the rural hard-men that created the big city gangsters. Brazen and fearless, these young rebel brothers helped build the American Dream in this exuberant tale of what was to become crime’s first major gold rush. The youngest brother, Jack (Shia LaBeouf), fancies himself the next Al Capone; he dreams of sharp suits, guns, girls and fast cars, no matter the cost.

A keen enthusiast and collector of all horror and extreme films. I can be picky as i like quality in my horror. This doesn't necessarily mean it has to be a classic, but as long as it has something to impress me then i'm a fan. I watch films by the rule that if it doesn't bring out some kind of emotive response then it aint worth watching.
