“Do it boy” Bruce Willis beats himself up in new clip from Rian Johnson’s time-travel thriller ‘Looper’

Yes I agree that the headline to this post sounds a bit silly, but technically it is true. In this brilliant clip from Rian Johnson’s (Brick) sci-fi headfuck thriller Looper, we see Joseph Gordon-Levitt talking to his future self, played by Bruce Willis. Willis is talking to his past-self (are you keeping up!) and so technically, Bruce Willis is talking to himself, and so is Gordon-Levitt, and so in all honesty, Bruce Willis punches himself in the head!

Looper will have its world premiere at the Toronto International Film Festival which begins next weekend.

Written and directed by Rian Johnson, Looper has an impressive cast to drive the high concept story, with names like Bruce Willis, Joseph Gordon-Levitt, Emily Blunt, Paul Dano, Jeff Daniels, Piper Perabo and Gareth Dillahunt. Looper arrives in UK cinemas 28th September.

In the futuristic action thriller Looper, time travel will be invented – but it will be illegal and only available on the black market. When the mob wants to get rid of someone, they will send their target 30 years into the past, where a “looper” – a hired gun, like Joe (Joseph Gordon-Levitt) – is waiting to mop up. Joe is getting rich and life is good… until the day the mob decides to “close the loop,” sending back Joe’s future self (Bruce Willis) for assassination.

A keen enthusiast and collector of all horror and extreme films. I can be picky as i like quality in my horror. This doesn't necessarily mean it has to be a classic, but as long as it has something to impress me then i'm a fan. I watch films by the rule that if it doesn't bring out some kind of emotive response then it aint worth watching.
