First batch of images and a reminder of that awesome red-band trailer arrive for found footage horror anthology ‘V/H/S’

The first batch of stills have gone online for the Bloody Disgusting Selects new horror anthology, V/H/S. We have the images here for you to check out, and while some are simply of the directors themselves, others (including the one above) are from the actual film. As a reminder, I have also included the brilliant and very frightening red-band trailer and may I suggest you give it a watch, regardless of whether you have seen it before, because V/H/S is going to be amazing!

In the US the film will open on VOD on 31st August, and will also hit selected cinemas on 5th October. Here in the UK there are no release details yet, but we do know that the film will have its UK  premiere at Film Four’s Frightfest this month, details can be found here.

V/H/S / U.S.A. (Directors: Adam Wingard, David Bruckner, Ti West, Glenn McQuaid, Joe Swanberg, Radio Silence, Screenwriters: Simon Barrett, David Bruckner, Ti West, Glenn McQuaid, Radio Silence) — “When a group of petty criminals is hired by a mysterious party to retrieve a rare piece of found footage from a rundown house in the middle of nowhere, they soon realize that the job isn’t going to be as easy as they thought. In the living room, a lifeless body holds court before a hub of old television sets, surrounded by stacks upon stacks of VHS tapes. As they search for the right one, they are treated to a seemingly endless number of horrifying videos, each stranger than the last.”

A keen enthusiast and collector of all horror and extreme films. I can be picky as i like quality in my horror. This doesn't necessarily mean it has to be a classic, but as long as it has something to impress me then i'm a fan. I watch films by the rule that if it doesn't bring out some kind of emotive response then it aint worth watching.
