I think you got something in your throat! Horrible new clip arrives for spooky horror ‘The Possession’

A new clip has arrived for director Ole Bornedal’s upcoming horror, The Possession. The film is due to arrive in UK cinemas in two weeks, and the new clip shows off the more horrible side to what we can expect from the demonic film.

In the clip we see young Em checking out her mouth in the bathroom, and though the clip is short and sweet, what we see’s is truly disgusting. The clip has already been featured in the trailer, but here it makes full uses of the build up of tension, and is actually quite effective.

The Possession is directed by Ole Bornedal, and has been written by Kevin Mannis, Stephen Susco, Juliet Snowden and Stiles White. Sam Raimi is one of the films producers. The film stars Jeffrey Dean Morgan, Kyra Sedgwick, Grant Show, Madison Davenport and Natasha Calis.

The Possession is due for release on 31 August in UK cinemas.

Based on true events, ‘The Possession’ is the terrifying story of how one family must unite in order to survive the wrath of an unspeakable evil. Clyde (Morgan) and Stephanie Brenek (Sedgwick) see little cause for alarm when their youngest daughter Em becomes oddly obsessed with an antique wooden box she purchased at a yard sale. But as Em’s behavior becomes increasingly erratic, the couple fears the presence of a malevolent force in their midst, only to discover that the box was built to contain a dibbuk, a dislocated spirit that inhabits and ultimately devours its human host.

A keen enthusiast and collector of all horror and extreme films. I can be picky as i like quality in my horror. This doesn't necessarily mean it has to be a classic, but as long as it has something to impress me then i'm a fan. I watch films by the rule that if it doesn't bring out some kind of emotive response then it aint worth watching.
