Sinister had its UK premiere at Frightfest last weekend, and the film is gearing up for a cinema release here on 5th October. Early word it that it is rather good, and I am thinking it could well be this years Insidious? I must admit that I am just a little excited about this one! While there has not been an awful lot of promotional material to share with you, that should all change soon as we nearer the release date, and with Paranormal Activity 4 also released in October, the battle will be on for which horror flick reigns supreme for Halloween. To help Sinister generate more interest, a collection of images from the film have been released today, and we have all the creepiness right here for you to enjoy.

From the producer of ‘Insidious’ and ‘Paranormal Activity’ comes a supremely creepy horror, full of dread, shocking images and almost unbearable tension, this one is pretty much guaranteed to give audiences nightmares. It also features a superb central performance by Ethan Hawke. Think “8MM” meets “The Shining”!

Sinister is directed by Scott Derrickson (The Exorcism of Emily Rose) and the found footage style horror stars Ethan Hawke, Juliet Rylance, James Ransone, Clare Foley and Fred Dalton Thompson.
