Daniel Craig confirmed for two more Bond flicks, plus ‘Skyfall’ official running time and opening sequence featurette included here!

After bringing you the rumours that Daniel Craig may be signing up for two more Bond movies yesterday, we can now happily confirm that these rumours have now been confirmed. Daniel Craig has signed a deal to star in Bond 24 and 25, which will see Craig’s number of Bond movies rise to five, putting him in third place for most Bond movies. Only Sean Connery (6) and Roger Moore (7) have played Bond more times than Craig. Sony Pictures (who have funded every one of Craig’s Bond films) will return to fund the next two movies.

Also today see’s the release of the official synopsis for Skyfall, along with the official running time and a brand new featurette which looks at the opening scene in the new film.

Skyfall’s official running time will be 145 minutes, some forty minutes longer than Quantum of Solace, and about a minute longer than Casino Royale.

Skyfall, directed by Sam Mendes, arrives in UK cinemas 26th October. The 23rd Bond film stars Daniel Craig as Bond, joining him will be Javier Bardem, Judi Dench,  Helen McCrory, Ralph Fiennes, Maggie Smith, Ben Whishaw, Albert Finney, Naomie Harris and Berenice Marlohe.


Daniel Craig is back as James Bond 007 in Skyfall, the 23rd adventure in the longest-running film franchise of all time. In Skyfall, Bond’s loyalty to M (Judi Dench) is tested as her past comes back to haunt her. As MI6 comes under attack, 007 must track down and destroy the threat, no matter how personal the cost.
