The latest clip from ‘Taken 2’ proves Liam Neeson can count to four

While I am more than happy to be sharing this new, and rather impressive clip from Olivier Megaton’s sequel, Taken 2, I am a little horrified at some news I discovered today. Firstly the clip, and it shows Liam Neeson as Bryan Mills instructing his daughter Kim (Maggie Grace) on how to get out of a sticky situation. The clip is cool, but what I found out today isn’t.

Taken 2 has been passed as a 12A here in the UK by the BBFC. Yes, you read that correct, a god damned 12A, what the hell is going on? The first film was a 15 in cinemas, and an 18 on the uncut DVD & Bluray release, so why the hell is the sequel a 12A? The film is all about Liam Neeson beating the crap out of the bad guys right? I am slightly concerned now I must admit. 12A, just what the hell!!!!

Taken 2 arrives in UK cinemas 4th October. Check out all our previous stories here

The sequel will be directed by Olivier Megaton and will star Liam Neeson, Famke Janssen, Maggie Grace and newcomer Rade Sherbedgia is now joining the cast as Murad, the nasty villain of the film.

Liam Neeson returns as Bryan Mills, the retired CIA agent with a particular set of skills who stopped at nothing to save his daughter Kim from Albanian kidnappers. When the father of one of the kidnappers swears revenge, and takes Bryan and his wife hostage during their family vacation in Istanbul, Bryan enlists Kim to help them escape, and uses the same advanced level of special forces tactics to get his family to safety and systematically take out the kidnappers one by one.

A keen enthusiast and collector of all horror and extreme films. I can be picky as i like quality in my horror. This doesn't necessarily mean it has to be a classic, but as long as it has something to impress me then i'm a fan. I watch films by the rule that if it doesn't bring out some kind of emotive response then it aint worth watching.
