Award winning director Rodrigo Gudino’s creepy new horror, The Last Will and Testament of Rosalind Leigh, has had an extremely successful festival run so far. However, the film is branching out and playing at a number of new festivals over the coming months as word of mouth spreads at how good the film is. Rue Morgue Cinema and Raven Banner Entertainment are proud to announce the world premiere of THE LAST WILL AND TESTAMENT OF ROSALIND LEIGH in competition at the 16th Annual Terra di Siena Film Festival in Italy (screening October 1) to be followed by its Spanish premiere at the 45th Sitges International Fantastic Film Festival of Catalonia (screening October 11), also in competition (Official Panorama). Written and directed by Rodrigo Gudiño, Rue Morgue president turned award-winning filmmaker, THE LAST WILL AND TESTAMENT OF ROSALIND LEIGH will continue to premiere across the continent.

The film centers on an antiques collector who inherits a house from his estranged mother only to discover that she had been living in a shrine devoted to a mysterious cult of angels. As night falls, he comes to suspect that his mother’s oppressive spirit still lingers within her home and is using items in the house – especially the statues of angels – to contact him with an urgent message. The Last Will and Testament of Rosalind Leigh will feature a strikingly original narrative technique that glimpses into what the psychology of spirits.
