AllFancyDress.com have launched https://www.zombieinvasion.co.uk/, which aims to show the spread of the zombie infection across the UK, giving users an insight to where they can seek refuge or begin a zombie killing spree.
Although Zombie Invasion specifically targets the UK, you can zoom in and around the ports to discover if the infection is spreading on a global scale and is heading your way.
The website is a fun Google maps mash-up using allfancydress.com costume sales data. They’ve taken over 3 years of sales data worth millions of pounds, and shown it in heatmap form to see where people really are becoming zombies. It also means it’s going to be a living data set, so if there is a surge in zombie (orders) in one place, the map will reflect that.
Take a look now on the Zombie Invasion website to see if the infection is making it’s way to your town. Or worse, it might already be on your doorstep!
