Looking forward to Tim Burton’s new animated comedy, Frankenweenie? Course you are, and if you are getting impatient, then check out these three clips we have for you. The first features a dead fish, the second a hilarious looking cat called Mr Whiskers and the third features a typical town Mayor. Loads of fun!
Frankenweenie is based on Burton’s own 1984 short film of the same name, and as you can see from the trailer, bringing Sparky back to life has some dreadful and hilarious consequences.
The film will be released by Walt Disney Pictures on 17th October, and Burton has enlisted the voice talents of a number of actors who also worked with him on The Corpse Bride. Among the names attached here are Winona Ryder, Martin Short, Catherine O’Hara, Martin Landau, Atticus Shaffer, Tom Kenny, Charlie Tahan and Conchata Ferrell.
A heartwarming tale about a boy and his dog. After unexpectedly losing his beloved dog Sparky, young Victor harnesses the power of science to bring his best friend back to life—with just a few minor adjustments. He tries to hide his home-sewn creation, but when Sparky gets out, Victor’s fellow students, teachers and the entire town all learn that getting a new “leash on life” can be monstrous.
A stop-motion animated film, ‘Frankenweenie’ will be filmed in black and white and rendered in 3D, which will elevate the classic style to a whole new experience.
