AFM: Promo poster revealed for ‘The Woman in Black: Angel of Death’

The American Film Market kicked off this week, so expect plenty of cool stuff to start flooding in, like this creepy promo poster for The Woman in Black: Angel of Death.

The sequel to James Watkins’ superb and terrifying ghost story, starring Daniel Radcliffe, will be based 40 years after the events of the first film. A new director has been found to make the sequel, and there have been rumors of Radcliffe turning up in a cameo role in a flashback. The promo poster is chilling, and looks like much of the same, and in my opinion that is a very good thing indeed.

Tom Harper, director of The Scouting Book For Boys, The Borrowers (TV movie) and episodes of TV series’ This Is England 86 and Misfits, has been announced as the director of the sequel: The Woman in Black: Angels of Death.

Synopsis:

Seized by the government and converted into a military mental hospital during World War II, the sudden arrival of disturbed soldiers to Eel Marsh Harsh has awoken its darkest inhabitant. Eve, a beautiful young nurse, is sent to the house to care for the patients but soon realizes she must save them from more than their own demons. Despite Eve’s efforts to stop her, one by one they fall victim to The Woman in Black.

A keen enthusiast and collector of all horror and extreme films. I can be picky as i like quality in my horror. This doesn't necessarily mean it has to be a classic, but as long as it has something to impress me then i'm a fan. I watch films by the rule that if it doesn't bring out some kind of emotive response then it aint worth watching.
