Are you voting yes??? Dramatic and thrilling new international trailer arrives for Steven Spielberg’s ‘Lincoln’





A new trailer has arrived for Steven Spielberg’s historical epic, Lincoln, perfectly time for Election Day in the US. The latest trailer is dramatic, thrilling and is probably the best one yet. It features a ton of new footage, with a good blend of both thrilling action and edge of your seat drama. There is also a very strong emphasis on the 13th Amendment here too, with Lincoln and his team looking to secure votes. I must say each and every trailer is looking better and better. Directed by Steven Spielberg, Tony Kushner wrote the screenplay based on Doris Kearns Goodwin’s book. Lincoln stars Daniel Day Lewis as Lincoln, and he will be joined by  Joseph Gordon-Levitt, Sally Field, Tommy Lee Jones, James Spader, John Hawkes, Michael Stuhlbarg, David Strathairn, Walton Goggins, Tim Blake Nelson, Bruce McGill, Jackie Earle Haley, Lee Pace, and Jared Harris.

Lincoln arrives in UK cinemas 25th January 2013.

Synopsis:

Steven Spielberg directs two-time Academy Award winner Daniel Day-Lewis in “Lincoln,” a revealing drama that focuses on the 16th President’s tumultuous final months in office. In a nation divided by war and the strong winds of change, Lincoln pursues a course of action designed to end the war, unite the country and abolish slavery. With the moral courage and fierce determination to succeed, his choices during this critical moment will change the fate of generations to come.
