New featurette for Ang Lee’s ‘Life of Pi’ see’s James Cameron discussing the use of 3D

Yet another brand new featurette has made its way on-line for Ang Lee’s ambitious new film, Life of Pi. We have already seen a number of different featurette looking at different aspects of the film, but this one focuses on the 3D element of the film, and even has the so-called master of 3D James Cameron giving the film his blessing. Check out the featurette (which features some new footage) below.

From Academy Award Winning Director Ang Lee, comes ‘Life Of Pi’, starring Suraj Sharma and Irrfan Khan. Life of Pi arrives in UK cinemas 21st December.


Based on the best-selling novel by Yann Martel, is a magical adventure story centering on Pi Patel, the precocious son of a zoo keeper. Dwellers in Pondicherry, India, the family decides to move to Canada, hitching a ride on a huge freighter. After a shipwreck, Pi finds himself adrift in the Pacific Ocean on a 26-foot lifeboat with a zebra, a hyena, an orangutan and a 450-pound Bengal tiger named Richard Parker, all fighting for survival.
