New trailer for Bryan Singer’s ‘Jack the Giant Slayer’ features laughter, action and plenty of giants!

Last week we were given a proper glimpse at one of the giants from Bryan Singer’s big budget fantasy adventure, Jack the Giant Slayer, and today see’s the release of a glorious new trailer.

The first trailer for the film was released almost a year ago, and since then the film has had its name changed from Killer to Slayer, and also a release date shuffle. Originally planned to arrive in cinemas in June this year, the film now arrives in March 2013. The new trailer is also a huge improvement on the last one, with tons more action, some terrifically scripted comedy and plenty more giant action. The special effects on display looks stunning, and this new trailer officially has me sold!

Directed by Bryan Singer, Darren Lemke wrote the screenplay and Nicholas Hoult, Stanley Tucci, Ewan McGregor, Warwick Davis, Bill Nighy, Ian McShane, Ewen Bremner, Eddie Marsan, John Kassir and Eleanor Tomlinson all star, quite an impressive cast I must say!

The film will be released in UK cinemas March 22nd 2013.

Synopsis:

Jack the Giant Slayer tells the story of an ancient war that is reignited when a young farmhand unwittingly opens a gateway between our world and a fearsome race of giants. Unleashed on the Earth for the first time in centuries, the giants strive to reclaim the land they once lost, forcing the young man, Jack, into the battle of his life to stop them. Fighting for a kingdom, its people, and the love of a brave princess, he comes face to face with the unstoppable warriors he thought only existed in legend–and gets the chance to become a legend himself.

A keen enthusiast and collector of all horror and extreme films. I can be picky as i like quality in my horror. This doesn't necessarily mean it has to be a classic, but as long as it has something to impress me then i'm a fan. I watch films by the rule that if it doesn't bring out some kind of emotive response then it aint worth watching.
