Robert Englund to play a creepy Minister in director Joe Dante’s new plane horror ‘Air Disturbance’

Joe Dante, director of Gremlins and 2009’s superb The Hole 3D, has two horror’s in the pipeline: Paris I’ll Kill You and Monster Love. Her has now added another to that list: Air Disturbance. Even better, Freddy Krueger himself Robert Englund, and The Stepfather’s Dylan Walsh are both onboard to star.

Jeremy Sklar (Freerunner???) wrote the script for New Films Cinema, and Hason’s New Film will distribute in the US and are currently selling the film at the American Film Market. Shooting is expected to begin later this month in Los Angeles.

From the press release:

“The horrific action takes place at 35,000 feet on a transcontinental flight from Los Angeles to Toronto.  Dylan Walsh plays Sam Davidson, a widowed father of two, whose wife recently committed suicide.  When strange atmospheric conditions begin to affect the aircraft, Sam protects his children and his psychic girlfriend from some of the other passengers, particularly a fanatical minister (Robert Englund) who believes that the supernatural phenomena could be a sign from God.”

A keen enthusiast and collector of all horror and extreme films. I can be picky as i like quality in my horror. This doesn't necessarily mean it has to be a classic, but as long as it has something to impress me then i'm a fan. I watch films by the rule that if it doesn't bring out some kind of emotive response then it aint worth watching.
