First one-sheet for ‘Dark Skies’ warns “once you are chosen, you belong to them”, ooh spooky!!

It is always nice to be thought of, and picked for something: whether its joining the football team, picking the next pub to visit or simply being offered the choice of film to see at the cinema next. However, it is not so good when aliens decide to pick you for something, because according to the new one-sheet for upcoming sci-fi horror Dark Skies, once those pesky aliens or, whatever they might be, have chosen you, you are pretty much screwed!

Dark Skies is written and directed by Scott Charles Stewart (Priest, Legion), and is produced by Jason Blum. The film stars Keri Rusell, Dakota Goyo, Josh Hamilton, Annie Thurman, J.K Simmons and Kadan Rockett. The film opens in US cinemas 22nd February 2013.

From the producers of Paranormal Activity, Insidious, and Sinister comes Dark Skies: a supernatural thriller that follows a young family living in the suburbs. As husband and wife Daniel and Lacey Barret witness an escalating series of disturbing events involving their family, their safe and peaceful home quickly unravels. When it becomes clear that the Barret family is being targeted by an unimaginably terrifying and deadly force, Daniel and Lacey take matters in their own hands to solve the mystery of what is after their family.

A keen enthusiast and collector of all horror and extreme films. I can be picky as i like quality in my horror. This doesn't necessarily mean it has to be a classic, but as long as it has something to impress me then i'm a fan. I watch films by the rule that if it doesn't bring out some kind of emotive response then it aint worth watching.
