A second trailer has landed for Disney’s The Lone Ranger, and while the first trailer only hinted at the fact Johnny Depp was in it, the second trailer allows him to take centre stage.
The new trailer see’s Depp putting on his best (although at times a little dodgy) Indian accent as he plays Tonto, a Native American spirit warrior. Armie Hammer also has plenty to do in the trailer as the lawman who simply won’t die. This new trailer certainly sells the film as a fun, good natured action adventure which can fill the gap while the next Pirates of the Caribbean is made, and the trailer is clearly more than happy to show off Depp’s talents.
Directed by Gore Verbinski, The Lone Ranger stars Johnny Depp as Tonto, and he will be joined by Helena Bonham Carter, Armie Hammer as The Lone Ranger, William Fichtner, Tom Wilkinson, James Badge Dale and Barry Pepper. Expect to see the film in UK cinemas 9th August 2013.
