Kristen Stewart confirms she will return in ‘Snow White & The Huntsman’ sequel

While we kind of knew this already, actress Kristen Stewart has confirmed that she will indeed be returning for the sequel to Rupert Sanders’ Snow White & The Huntsman. As we reported a short while ago, Sanders will of course not be returning to direct and writer of the first film, David Koepp is also out.

However, Stewart, Chris Hemsworth and Charlize Theron have been sanctioned for all three proposed films and so far the only person confirmed is Stewart. In a recent interview with The Playlist, she said the following:

OK, but to play devil’s advocate: where are you going to go with your character in a “Snow White” sequel?

Oh, it’s gonna be fuckin’ amazing. No, I’m so excited about it, it’s crazy.

Can you give me a hint of where it goes?

I’m not allowed. The other day I said that there was a strong possibility that we’re going to make a sequel, and that’s very true, but everyone was like, “Whoa, stop talking about it.” So no, I’m totally not allowed to talk about it.

But it’s fair to say that there are ideas that have been discussed that totally justify it for you.

Oh my God. Fuck, yeah. Absolutely. And we’ve got a really amazing… [smiles] So, yeah. It’s all good. [laughs]

So there you have it, and it also now appears that the second film will be a sequel and the third film a spin-off of sorts. This obviously changes the earlier plans reported that next two films would focus on Charlize Theron’s Ravenna and Chris Hemsworth’s Huntsman.

We await further updates.

A keen enthusiast and collector of all horror and extreme films. I can be picky as i like quality in my horror. This doesn't necessarily mean it has to be a classic, but as long as it has something to impress me then i'm a fan. I watch films by the rule that if it doesn't bring out some kind of emotive response then it aint worth watching.
