The gorgeous Ni No Kuni: Wrath of the White Witch is finally seeing a European release next month, and in anticipation of this, Namco Bandai and developer Level 5 have announced a demo, which will be available to download from 5th December, exclusively on PS3. The Japanese RPG has been made in co-operation with Studio Ghibli, and it certainly shows.
You will be able to play through two different levels of the game where you can test your mettle against a couple of the game’s most infamous bosses: Guardian of the Woods and Moltaan.
Ni no Kuni: Wrath of the White Witch is an epic Japanese role-playing-game developed by the critically acclaimed Japanese development studio, LEVEL-5. The game features animations and cut-scenes that are produced and supervised by the legendary Japanese animation company, Studio Ghibli. The music in the game was composed by the world-renowned music composer Joe Hisaishi.
Ni no Kuni: Wrath of the White Witch is the heart-warming tale of a young boy named Oliver, who embarks on a journey into another world to become a wizard in an attempt to save his mother. Along the way, Oliver makes new friends and tames many of the wonderful creatures that inhabit the world, raising them to battle other creatures on his behalf as he takes on formidable enemies.
HCF had a hands on with Ni No Kuni earlier this year, which we were very impressed with, if just for the superb visuals. The main draw is obviously the involvement of Studio Ghibli, but PS3 owners get to see for themselves this Wednesday.
Ni No Kuni: Wrath of the White Witch is released in Europe 25th January 2013, exclusively on Playstation 3.
