Those of you lucky enough to have already experienced the found footage anthology V/H/S will surely agree with me that Radio Silence’s final segment was one of the highlights. The final segment, called 10/31/98 was superb, frightening and littered with moments of pure genius, and I have been waiting to see what the team of four directors might come up with next.
See, they made their name directing short films which they posted on Youtube, but after their phenomenal entry into the V/H/S anthology, studios have begun to notice them, and Fox is one of those studios!
THR reports that Fox have acquired an as yet untitled found footage project which is being written by Linsday Devlin, and they want Radio Silence to direct. John Davis will produce through his Fox based Davis Entertainment banner.
The plot of the film is being heavily guarded, but THR reports it is described as being female-driven and having horror elements.
Davis dipped into his discretionary fund to acquire the project as a pitch back in the spring. Devlin then wrote the script, attracting the directing team which is comprised of Tyler Gillett, Matt Bettinelli-Olpin, Chad Villella and Justin Martinez.
