Jessica Alba to do more sexy dancing in ‘Sin City: A Dame to Kill For’? Oh, yes please!!

Robert Rodriguez’ excellent Sin City had many highlights, but few could reach the dazzling sexiness of Jessica Alba dancing in her cowgirl costume as Nancy Callahan. The image of Alba dancing became one of the key selling points of the film, and pretty much had the film sold before people had even seen a trailer. Red blooded males were more than happy to spend their cash just to see Alba seduce in her costume, and fans are eager to know if she will do it again in Sin City: A Dame to Kill For.

Well, in a recent interview with Vulture at Sundance, Alba promised she would certainly be dancing for us again, but this time it will be even better!

“I had to learn a bunch of dance sequences for it” she said. ” I do a lot more dancing in this one. It was kind of crazy [the amount of time she spent preparing]. It was very, very difficult, and you’ll see why.”

I’ll have my ticket now please!!!

The star studded ensemble includes already announced original cast members Academy Award® nominee Mickey Rourke as “Marv,” Jessica Alba as “Nancy,” Rosario Dawson as “Gail” and Jaime King as “Goldie/Wendy” with new cast members Joseph Gordon-Levitt as “Johnny,” Dennis Haysbert as “Manute”, Josh Brolin as “Dwight”, Christopher Meloni as “a disreputable cop” and Jamie Chung as “Miho”, Juno Temple, Jeremy Piven and Ray Liotta.  Production is underway at Rodriguez’s Troublemaker Studios in Austin, Texas.

SIN CITY: A DAME TO KILL FOR was developed by Frank Miller based upon his graphic novel, with a screenplay by Miller.

One of the storylines from Frank Miller’s graphic novels being adapted is “A Dame to Kill For,” originally published in 1993 and featuring a man named Dwight entangled in a complicated and deadly relationship with a femme fatale named Ava. Also, A Dame to Kill For takes place before and after the events of the first film, thus allowing Mickey Rourke’s Marv to return. While no exact plot details are known, last year Miller stated that another storyline that will be used is ‘Just Another Saturday Night’, and this would form part of the films narrative. He also said that a story had been written specifically for Jessica Alba’s Nancy, and that this story would tie the two films together.

Sin City: A Dame To Kill For is expected to arrive in October 2013.

A keen enthusiast and collector of all horror and extreme films. I can be picky as i like quality in my horror. This doesn't necessarily mean it has to be a classic, but as long as it has something to impress me then i'm a fan. I watch films by the rule that if it doesn't bring out some kind of emotive response then it aint worth watching.
