JJ Abrams discusses ‘Star Trek Into Darkness’ in new featurette, which includes a small amount of new footage!




While everyone is discussing Star Wars: Episode VII, let’s now forget that Abrams’ sequel, Star Trek Into Darkness, is not far off now and we should really remain focused on that for now. So, as a reminder that it is gonna be something truly amazing, a new featurette has been revealed by Paramount.

The short featurette features Abrams and his cast discussing the film, with Abrams in particular talking about the added bonus of IMAX and 3D, and also saying this film is “everything I have ever done rolled into one” There is also a small amount of new footage to be seen, so check out the video at the bottom of this post.

Star Trek Into Darkness is directed by JJ Abrams, and the cast includes  Chris Pine, Zachary Quinto, Karl Urban, Benedict Cumberbatch, Zoe Saldana, Alice Eve, Anton Yelchin, Simon Pegg, John Cho and Peter Weller. Roberto Orci, Alex Kurtzman and Damon Lindelof are on writing duties.

Star Trek 2 will arrive in UK cinemas 17th May 2013.
