New, provocative trailer lands for Steven Soderbergh’s ‘Side Effects’

A second trailer has landed for Steven Soderbergh’s rather excellent looking new thriller, Side Effects. Granted it appears to be just a shorter version of the original trailer, but it still packs a mighty wallop, and looks very good.

Soderbergh rarely makes a bad film, and with an incredible cast bagged for his new thriller, Side Effects is guaranteed to deliver. It is also worth noting that Soderbergh has stated that this could well be his last big theatrical release before retirement.

Side Effects is directed by Steven Soderbergh and written by Scott Z. Burns (Contagion). The film stars Rooney Mara, Channing Tatum, Catherine Zeta-Jones, Jude Law, Vinessa Shaw, David Costabile and Gregg Paul. The film will be released in UK cinemas 15th March 2013.

SIDE EFFECTS is a provocative thriller about Emily and Martin (Rooney Mara and Channing Tatum), a successful New York couple whose world unravels when a new drug prescribed by Emily’s psychiatrist (Jude Law) – intended to treat anxiety – has unexpected side effects.

A keen enthusiast and collector of all horror and extreme films. I can be picky as i like quality in my horror. This doesn't necessarily mean it has to be a classic, but as long as it has something to impress me then i'm a fan. I watch films by the rule that if it doesn't bring out some kind of emotive response then it aint worth watching.
