AMC’s record breaking series, The Walking Dead: Season Three, has been on a bit of a break, but is set to return to US TV on 10th February. In anticipation of the shows return, AMC have released a brand new poster highlighting the date of the shows comeback.
Having watched Seasons One and Two literally back to back recently, I still need to catch up with Season Three, and plan to do so before the show returns. However, I have a pretty good idea of what is going on in the new season, and I have read many calling it the best season yet. The new poster features Rick (Andrew Lincoln) and The Governor (David Morrissey) in a sort of stand off pose, and clearly hints at a showdown between the two.
Here’s the synopsis for the second half of The Walking Dead: Season Three, which returns to US TV on 10th February:
With his group in tatters, his sanity in question, and his own son questioning his every move, Rick (Andrew Lincoln) must somehow pull everyone together to face their greatest challenge — the Governor (David Morrissey). In order to survive, he must risk everything, including the group’s very humanity.
