A striking red coloured poster lands for Brad Anderson’s latest chiller ‘The Call’

A few weeks ago we saw the first rather impressive trailer for director Brad Anderson’s (Session 9, The Machinist, Vanishing on 7th Street) latest tale of terror, The Call. Today Sony Tristar have revealed the film first poster, and like the trailer, it is actually very good indeed. The striking red, coupled with a close up of star Halle Berry’s face and the map give the film a dark edge.

I am keeping my fingers crossed that The Call will be a return to form for Anderson after the weak Vanishing on 7th Street.

Directed by Brad Anderson and written by Richard D’Ovidio, The Call stars Halle Berry alongside Abigail Breslin, Morris Chestnut, Michael Imperioli and Ella Rae Peck.

The film arrives in US cinemas on 15th March. No UK date has been released yet.

When veteran 911 operator, Jordan (Halle Berry), takes a life-altering call from a teenage girl (Abigail Breslin) who has just been abducted, she realizes that she must confront a killer from her past in order to save the girl’s life.

A keen enthusiast and collector of all horror and extreme films. I can be picky as i like quality in my horror. This doesn't necessarily mean it has to be a classic, but as long as it has something to impress me then i'm a fan. I watch films by the rule that if it doesn't bring out some kind of emotive response then it aint worth watching.
