Warner Brothers have revealed the first clip from their upcoming effects heavy adventure, Jack the Giant Slayer. The clip features star Nicholas Hoult as Jack getting himself into a bit of a pickle with some locals. The clip shows off the films rather playful nature, and also shows Ewan McGregor having a lot of fun as King Elmont.

Also released over the weekend is a new teaser trailer to get fans in the moods for a brand new trailer arriving later today. The teaser trailer seems to be taking the more serious route with a thundering soundtrack and some menacing scenes. If this is any indication as to how the new trailer will look, then I can’t wait! We will of course bring you the new trailer once it becomes available.

Directed by Bryan Singer, Darren Lemke wrote the screenplay and Nicholas Hoult, Stanley Tucci, Ewan McGregor, Warwick Davis, Bill Nighy, Ian McShane, Ewen Bremner, Eddie Marsan, John Kassir and Eleanor Tomlinson all star, quite an impressive cast I must say!

The film will be released in UK cinemas March 22nd 2013.

Synopsis:

Jack the Giant Slayer tells the story of an ancient war that is reignited when a young farmhand unwittingly opens a gateway between our world and a fearsome race of giants. Unleashed on the Earth for the first time in centuries, the giants strive to reclaim the land they once lost, forcing the young man, Jack, into the battle of his life to stop them. Fighting for a kingdom, its people, and the love of a brave princess, he comes face to face with the unstoppable warriors he thought only existed in legend–and gets the chance to become a legend himself.

A keen enthusiast and collector of all horror and extreme films. I can be picky as i like quality in my horror. This doesn't necessarily mean it has to be a classic, but as long as it has something to impress me then i'm a fan. I watch films by the rule that if it doesn't bring out some kind of emotive response then it aint worth watching.
