A second trailer has arrived for director Brad Anderson’s latest chiller, The Call, and it is pretty good. The trailer runs just over a minute, but is brings all the tension of the first trailer and TV spots together for one mighty dose of panic.
Halle Berry is looking good in the role of a 911 call center operator, and with Anderson directing, The Call should hopefully turn out as a very decent and very dark thriller. Anderson has proved himself very capable with films like Session 9, The Machinist and Transsiberian, and Berry is also able to bring on the good stuff if required. Fingers crossed that The Call turns out as good as expected.
Directed by Brad Anderson and written by Richard D’Ovidio, The Call stars Halle Berry alongside Abigail Breslin, Morris Chestnut, Michael Imperioli and Ella Rae Peck.
The film arrives in US cinemas on 15th March. No UK date has been released yet.
When veteran 911 operator, Jordan (Halle Berry), takes a life-altering call from a teenage girl (Abigail Breslin) who has just been abducted, she realizes that she must confront a killer from her past in order to save the girl’s life.
