The latest poster for Marvel and Disney’s Iron Man 3 has been revealed, once again, by Empire, and we have it right here for you. I am beginning to think that Iron Man 3 will not exactly be Tony Stark’s greatest hour: we have seem him falling through the sky all beaten up and damaged, we have seen Pepper Potts holding his smashed up helmet looking rather sad, his Malibu Mansion has been destroyed and we have seen numerous images of Iron Man generally looking a little worse for wear.
The latest poster is no different, as we see Stark once again smashed up, part of his arm armour missing, his helmet gone and flames coming off his shoulder. He is not in a good way, but god damn it there is a determination on his face here that screams out “you can’t beat me!!” attitude! Go get ’em lad, don’t let that ‘orrible Mandarin bastard beat you! Oh, and there would appears to be a number of Iron Man suits flying in the sky behind him too!
Iron Man 3 is directed by Shane Black (Kiss Kiss Bang Bang), and Black also co-writes with Drew Pearce. Iron Man 3 stars Robert Downey Jr. (Iron Man, Marvel’s The Avengers) as the iconic Super Hero character Tony Stark/Iron Man along with Gwyneth Paltrow (Iron Man,Iron Man 2,) as Pepper Potts, Don Cheadle (Iron Man 2) as James “Rhodey” Rhodes and Jon Favreau (Iron Man,Iron Man 2) as Happy Hogan. Iron Man 3 continues the epic, big-screen adventures of the world’s favorite billionaire inventor/Super Hero, Tony Stark aka “Iron Man.” Sir Ben Kingsley will be playing the role of the villain, The Mandarin, and Guy Pearce will play the role of Aldrich Killian.
Iron Man 3 kicks off Marvel’s Phase Two on 26th April 2013.
Marvel Studios’ “Iron Man 3” pits brash-but-brilliant industrialist Tony Stark/Iron Man against an enemy whose reach knows no bounds. When Stark finds his personal world destroyed at his enemy’s hands, he embarks on a harrowing quest to find those responsible. This journey, at every turn, will test his mettle. With his back against the wall, Stark is left to survive by his own devices, relying on his ingenuity and instincts to protect those closest to him. As he fights his way back, Stark discovers the answer to the question that has secretly haunted him: does the man make the suit or does the suit make the man?
Entertainment Weekly have also exclusively revealed some new posters, but for an altogether different film. Two rather impressive posters were revealed yesterday for the Tom Cruise starring sci-fi, Oblivion. In the first poster we see Cruise and Morgan Freeman generally looking quite serious, while the second posters reveals Cruise walking on a deserted Earth. Check them both out below.
