Possible plot details revealed for Ti West’s latest tale of terror, ‘The Sacrament’

Directed by Ti West (House of the Devil, Innkeepers) and produced by Eli Roth (Hostel, Cabin Fever) comes the very secretive horror, The Sacrament. All we know so far is who will be starring in it, and all we have seen is the above image.

However, in a recent interview with The Guardian to promote The Last Exorcism Part II (which he produced), Eli Roth has let slip a few details of what we can expect to see from The Sacrament, and it is very exciting!

I’m now producing a film called The Sacrament that Ti West produced and directed,” Roth tells The Guardian. “He made a terrific film called House of the Devil, and had a great idea about a found footage docu-style horror movie set it a Jonestown type cult where we watch a mass suicide begin and the filmmakers are trapped inside. It’s really, really scary.

Now if that doesn’t get your horror juices flowing, I don’t know what will!

The director of such horror classics like House of the Devil, The Innkeepers and the ‘Second Honeymoon segment in horror anthology V/H/S, is back. Ti West’s latest venture into bare bones terror is produced and “presented” by Eli Roth along with Worldview Pictures (who are also producing Roth’s The Green Inferno), and here is the rather impressive cast list:

Joe Swanberg (V/H/S, You’re Next, A Horrible Way To Die), AJ Bowen (You’re Next, A Horrible Way To Die, House of the Devil, The Signal), Kentucker Audley (V/H/S), Amy Seimetz (You’re Next, A Horrible Way to Die, Tiny Furniture) and Gene Jones (No Country for Old Men)

A keen enthusiast and collector of all horror and extreme films. I can be picky as i like quality in my horror. This doesn't necessarily mean it has to be a classic, but as long as it has something to impress me then i'm a fan. I watch films by the rule that if it doesn't bring out some kind of emotive response then it aint worth watching.
