Everyone knew that an Iron Man 3 TV spot was going to arrive during yesterday’s Super Bowl, but an extended version arrive instead. In a very playful manner, the extended part of the trailer simply has Robert Downey Jr as Tony Stark teasing the added footage of himself, and it is quite playful.
Then we head into the more serious, dramatic and thrilling TV spots which see’s plenty of destruction, Stark wanting to apologies, and Ben Kinsgley’s villain, The Manadarin, giving a harsh warning that “you’ll never see me coming” Dark times indeed, but if that couldn’t get any better, the teaser ends on a thrilling scene of Iron Man attempting to save passengers of a plane, a sure sign that Iron Man 3 is going to be one hell of a thrill ride.
Also revealed are four new stills from the TV spot, just in case you missed anything.
