Two TV spots arrive for Brad Anderson’s latest chiller, ‘The Call’

Things are hotting up for director Brad Anderson’s (Session 9, The Machinist) new thriller, The Call. Starring Halle Berry as a 911 phone operative, the film is gearing up for its US release on 15th March, and Sony TriStar have released two new TV spots to get you excited to see the film.

Both TV spots are simply much shorter versions of the trailer, but are still very impressive. I have high hopes that the Call will see Anderson back to his best after that rather dull Vanishing on 7th Street.

Directed by Brad Anderson and written by Richard D’Ovidio, The Call stars Halle Berry alongside Abigail Breslin, Morris Chestnut, Michael Imperioli and Ella Rae Peck.

The film arrives in US cinemas on 15th March. No UK date has been released yet.

Synopsis:

When veteran 911 operator, Jordan (Halle Berry), takes a life-altering call from a teenage girl (Abigail Breslin) who has just been abducted, she realizes that she must confront a killer from her past in order to save the girl’s life.

A keen enthusiast and collector of all horror and extreme films. I can be picky as i like quality in my horror. This doesn't necessarily mean it has to be a classic, but as long as it has something to impress me then i'm a fan. I watch films by the rule that if it doesn't bring out some kind of emotive response then it aint worth watching.
