Wesley Snipes battles the dead in first trailer for ‘Gallowwalkers’

Its been two years since Wesley Snipes’ last film, Game of Death, and while his career has never really hit the highs of his Blade days and his hits of the 90’s, the actor keeps on going. With a rumoured part in The Expendables 3, could we see Snipes finally making a real comeback?

In all honesty probably no, Gallowwalkers does not exactly look like the perfect action film come horror, but it does look like a lot of fun, and Snipes bellows out his lines as if every one is a punch-line, and it is Snipes’ ability to bring natural humour to his roles, whatever they are, that make him such a joy to watch on screen.

I doubt Gallowwalkers will find him any new fans, but is should certainly give us completists something to look forward to.

Gallowwalkers is directed by Andrew Goth, and is co-written by Goth and Joanne Reay. The cast includes Wesley Snipes, Kevin Howarth, Riley Smith, Tanit Phoenix and Steven Elder.

Synopsis:

Gallowwalkers is the story of a mysterious gunman, Aman (Snipes), the son of a nun, who breaks her covenant with God to ensure his survival. Her break with God curses her son to be hunted by all those who die by his hand – When he takes revenge on a gang that murdered his love, the gang rises as a cursed crew of undead warriors and hunt him mercilessly, seeking their ‘dying’ revenge.

A keen enthusiast and collector of all horror and extreme films. I can be picky as i like quality in my horror. This doesn't necessarily mean it has to be a classic, but as long as it has something to impress me then i'm a fan. I watch films by the rule that if it doesn't bring out some kind of emotive response then it aint worth watching.
