Brad Anderson’s ‘The Call’ releases very effective and chilling featurette

A brand new behind the scenes featurette for director Brad Anderson’s upcoming thriller, The Call, is a superb and chillingly good advert for the film.

The featurette features interviews with the director and cast, but what it also has is plenty of new footage and a terrific finish to the two minute video. The featurette also plays out like a trailer, and in-between people talking, the actual film footage suggests that The Call is set to be a real chiller, and from the looks of things, a real return to form for the director of such classics as Session 9 and The Machinist.

Directed by Brad Anderson and written by Richard D’Ovidio, The Call stars Halle Berry alongside Abigail Breslin, Morris Chestnut, Michael Imperioli and Ella Rae Peck.

The film arrives in US cinemas on 15th March. No UK date has been released yet.

Synopsis:

When veteran 911 operator, Jordan (Halle Berry), takes a life-altering call from a teenage girl (Abigail Breslin) who has just been abducted, she realizes that she must confront a killer from her past in order to save the girl’s life.

A keen enthusiast and collector of all horror and extreme films. I can be picky as i like quality in my horror. This doesn't necessarily mean it has to be a classic, but as long as it has something to impress me then i'm a fan. I watch films by the rule that if it doesn't bring out some kind of emotive response then it aint worth watching.
