New image from ‘The World’s End’ see’s the gang staggering down the street (possibly to the pub)

The latest image from writer and director Edgar Wright’s The World’s End has been unveiled, and we have it here for you. The image from the third and final film in the trilogy that includes Shaun of the Dead and Hot Fuzz, shows the whole gang walking down the street, and let’s be honest they all look a bit tipsy, don’t you think?

Simon Pegg, Nick Frost, Eddie Marsan, Martin Freeman and Paddy Considine all stagger with a cool swagger, and since the film is set around an almighty pub crawl as the world ends, this image could be of the group between pubs.

Directed and co-written by Edgar Wright, and co-written by Simon Pegg, the film stars Simon Pegg, Nick Frost, Rosamund Pike, Paddy Considine, Martin Freeman and Eddie Marsan.

The World’s End arrives in UK cinemas 14th August 2013.

20 years after attempting an epic pub crawl, five childhood friends reunite when one of them becomes hell bent on trying the drinking marathon again. They are convinced to stage an encore by mate Gary King, a 40-year old man trapped at the cigarette end of his teens, who drags his reluctant pals to their home town and once again attempts to reach the fabled pub, The World’s End. As they attempt to reconcile the past and present, they realize the real struggle is for the future, not just theirs but humankind’s. Reaching The World’s End is the least of their worries.

A keen enthusiast and collector of all horror and extreme films. I can be picky as i like quality in my horror. This doesn't necessarily mean it has to be a classic, but as long as it has something to impress me then i'm a fan. I watch films by the rule that if it doesn't bring out some kind of emotive response then it aint worth watching.
