A couple of small, yet brilliant Star Trek Into Darkness news for you here. Firstly, during this weekends Earth Hour WWF event, the Star Trek insignia was created using quadcopters and green energy lighting, and lit up London’s sky. The Earth Hour event is where cities around the world turn off their lights to raise awareness about climate change.
The short video below shows how the Star Trek insignia was created, and how it looked during the hour blackout, and I must say it looks very cool indeed.
Also Empire have revealed a couple of exclusive Star trek Into Darkness images, and we can show both of them here for you. The first see’s Spock, Kirk and Nyota Uhura in full on action mode as they are clearly in a heated battle. The second image see’s the gorgeous Zoe Saldana as Uhura looking very threatening and very serious as she holds a gun to an unseen enemy. Both images are tinted with a striking blue colour, and both are from Empire’s latest edition which is on sale this Thursday.
