The wait is almost over! ‘The Wolverine’ trailer arrives next week!

Images and updates are nice, but we want to see the damned trailer already! James Mangold’s The Wolverine arrives in cinemas in four months, and still we have yet to see any actual film footage. We have been promised that the trailer will arrive at the end of March, and rumours have been saying that the trailer will play ahead of G.I.Joe: Retaliation. Well, it now appears that those rumours have indeed been proven to be true!

Mangold responded to a Tweet where a fan asked about the trailer, and if it would be playing before G.I.Joe: Retaliation, here is how the conversation went:

@mang0ld So  trailer is set to debut with @GIJoeMovie? I’m sure the trailer will be amazing! Delaying it was a good idea.

@movie_maniac_ @GIJoeMovie The Teaser comes out on that date, yes. It will be about 2 minutes. The trailer (longer) will follow after that.

While Mangold’s Tweet did make sense, he decided to clarify:

Clarity for all asking: I will tweet a peek (a “tweazer”) on 26th. Full teaser online on 27th. 3D and 2D in theaters on the big screen 29th.

So there you have it, The Wolverine trailer arrives next Wednesday the 27th March, the day G.I Joe: Retaliation arrives in cinemas!

Directed by James Mangold, The Wolverine stars Hugh Jackman as the metal clawed hero, and joining him will be Will Yun Lee, Hiroyuki Sanada, Hal Yamanouchi, Tao Okamoto, and Rila Fukushima.

The Wolverine arrives in UK cinemas 25th July 2013.

Based on the celebrated comic book arc, this epic action-adventure takes Wolverine, the most iconic character of the X-Men universe, to modern day Japan. Out of his depth in an unknown world he faces his ultimate nemesis in a life-or-death battle that will leave him forever changed. Vulnerable for the first time and pushed to his physical and emotional limits, he confronts not only lethal samurai steel but also his inner struggle against his own immortality, emerging more powerful than we have ever seen him before.

A keen enthusiast and collector of all horror and extreme films. I can be picky as i like quality in my horror. This doesn't necessarily mean it has to be a classic, but as long as it has something to impress me then i'm a fan. I watch films by the rule that if it doesn't bring out some kind of emotive response then it aint worth watching.
