Bong Joon-ho’s apocalyptic ‘Snowpiercer’ releases a cool collection of passports




While we still wait for an official release date, and a trailer, right now we are stumbling over anything we can get our hands on for Bong Joon-ho’s (The Host) new apocalyptic sci-fi, Snowpiercer.

Released today are a cool collection of passports showing off the impressive cast, plus a sneaky look at the director as well. Each passport has the actors name, and the role they are playing in the film plus plenty of other neat little information. Bong Joon-ho’s passport simply lists jis as ‘director’. Snowpiercer is written and directed by Bong Joon-ho, and is based on the graphic novel written by Benjamin Legrand. The cast includes Song Kang-ho, Chris Evans, Jamie Bell, Alison Pill, John Hurt, Tilda Swinton, Ed Harris, Ewen Bremner, Octavia Spencer and Luke Pasqualino.


Snowpiercer is set in a future where, after a failed experiment to stop global warming, an Ice Age kills off all life on the planet except for the inhabitants of the Snowpiercer, a train that travels around the globe and is powered by a sacred perpetual-motion engine. A class system evolves on the train but a revolution brews.
