Yet another clip has been released from JJ Abrams’ sequel, Star Trek Into Darkness, and I am thinking that the films release cannot come soon enough (at this rate we will have seen half the film by the time it is released!). However, today’s clip is a very good one, and simply features Kirk (Chris Pine) and villain John Harrison (Benedict Cumberbatch) having a few threatening words with each other. The main thing this clip shows is just how menacing this John Harrison fella really is, and Cumberbatch has nailed the villain role perfectly.
Also just released is a brand new featurette which features a small amount of new footage, and plenty of action. The video features interviews with director JJ Abrams and his cast, and is simply an excuse for them to sell the film and talk about how good it is. I am not complaining one bit, and the featurette, if you weren’t already, is bound to convince viewers that Star Trek Into Darkness will be some very special indeed.
