London is in flames in menacing new ‘Star Trek Into Darkness’ poster

The latest poster for JJ Abrams highly anticipated sequel, Star Trek Into Darkness, was revealed earlier today, and it is extremely menacing. Benedict Cumberbatch reinforces his role as the films villain, and the image see’s him coldly walking away from a futuristic London in chaos, no doubt thanks to his handy work.

Also, don’t forget that from 9:05 a.m tomorrow morning (Tuesday 9th April) UK fans will be able to pre-book their Star Trek Into Darkness. Here is what we posted earlier today:

Paramount Pictures’ hotly anticipated summer release, STAR TREK INTO DARKNESS will be opening its box office tomorrow in the UK and Ireland for advanced bookings, ahead of the release on the 9th May. The tickets will be available from 9.05am tomorrow, and are expected to sell fast! As one of the most anticipated releases of the year, according to, fans around the country will be keen to get their hands on the tickets as early as possible.

Those who are looking to purchase tickets ahead of the release will be able to from tomorrow from all Odeon, Cineworld, Vue, Empire, Showcase, Picturehouse cinemas, or from the official STAR TREK INTO DARKNESS website.

Star Trek Into Darkness is directed by JJ Abrams, and the cast includes  Chris Pine, Zachary Quinto, Karl Urban, Benedict Cumberbatch, Zoe Saldana, Alice Eve, Anton Yelchin, Simon Pegg, John Cho and Peter Weller. Roberto Orci, Alex Kurtzman and Damon Lindelof are on writing duties.
