It is taking a lot to convince me that M. Night Shyamalan’s new sci-fi, After Earth, will actually be any good. The posters are a bit rubbish, and the trailers looked ok but made the idea look very limited and a bit, well, boring really.
However, things have changed a little now that a very impressive TV spot has been released. Add some sort of monster to anything, and it immediately gets a thumbs up from me. Add a lot of monsters and you have my interest, and that is just what the new TV spot does! Check it out below.
Written and directed by M. Night Shyamalan, After Earth stars Will and Jaden Smith alongside Isabelle Fuhrman, Zoe Kravitz, David Denman and Kristofer Hivju.
