Spartacus Invaded London with His Deadly Gladiatrix to Celebrate the Release of #SpartacusWarOfTheDamned!

To celebrate the release of the greatest television epic of our time – Spartacus: War of the Damned out now on DVD and Blu-ray boxset – the one and only Spartacus himself travelled through London (or should we call it Londinium?!) yesterday with his pair of deadly yet eye-catching Gladiatrix!

Starting at Victoria Tube Station, Spartacus well and truly brought the rain down on the Capital in the afternoon as he journeyed to Leicester Square, King’s Cross St. Pancras and Westminster to name but a few destinations! Armed with a breathtaking physique, Spartacus brought a smile to intrigued onlookers and made sure all was in working order, keeping the peace!

This epic raid included a visit to the city’s most famed attractions such as the London Eye, Marble Arch and also a trip to Oxford Street’s HMV where luckily for the staff, no-one needed to be slaughtered!

See for yourself how it all unfolded on Twitter using the official hashtag #IAmSpartacus!

I love prosthetic effects, stop-motion animation and gore, but most of all I love a good story! I adore B-movies and exploitation films in many of their guises and also have a soft spot for creature features. I review a wide range of media including movies, TV series, books and videogames. I'm a massive fan of author Hunter S. Thompson and I enjoy various genre of videogames with Kingdom Hearts and Harvest Moon two of my all time favs. Currently playing: The Witcher 2, Yakuza Zero and Alien: Isolation
