After yesterdays serious and epic TV spot for Man of Steel, the latest piece of promotional material for Zack Snyder’s superb looking film comes by way of a brand new poster.
No, your eyes are not deceiving you, it really is that blurry! Clearly making an attempt to get the viewer ‘in on the action’, the poster, I assume, it doing its best to make you feel like you are flying with Superman, but in all fairness, all I get from it is a bit of a blurry image that hurts my eyes. I am not complaining though, everything else so far for this film has been astonishing.
Directed by Zack Snyder, produced by Christopher Noaln and written by David S. Goyer and Jonathan Nolan, the film stars Henry Cavill as Clark Kent, Amy Adams as Lois Lane, Kevin Costner and Diane Lane as Jonathan and Martha Kent, Michael Shannon as General Zod and Russell Crowe as Jor-El. Also amongst the highly impressive cast are Laurence Fishburne, Christopher Meloni, Ayelet Zurer and Antje Traue.
Man of Steel arrives in cinemas June 14th.
In the pantheon of superheroes, Superman is the most recognized and revered character of all time. Clark Kent/Kal-El (Henry Cavill) is a young twenty-something journalist who feels alienated by powers beyond his imagination. Transported years ago to Earth from Krypton, a highly advanced, distant planet, Clark struggles with the ultimate question ‘Why am I here?’ Shaped by the values of his adoptive parents Martha (Diane Lane) and Jonathan Kent (Kevin Costner), Clark discovers having extraordinary abilities means making difficult decisions. When the world is in dire need of stability, an even greater threat emerges. Clark must become a Man of Steel, to protect the people he loves and shine as the world’s beacon of hope – Superman.
